Flip Flops at School
Flip flops don't always give support to the feet of the students who wear them. Students can slip and fall because there isn't much traction on the bottom. Especially when walking down crowded hallways or in crowded classrooms, wearing flip flops can be dangerous. Also, if students are in a lab, they can spill hazardous chemicals onto their feet, because they are open-toed. Slipping and falling can lead to severe injuries. Wearing something with a back strap gives more support to the wearer.

I think that we should be able to wear flip flops at school. The years before us got to wear flip flops and no one fell and really hurt them selves.
I think people should be able to wear whatevers comfortable to them. If that means wearing flip-flops then let them wear them.
I dont have a problem with flip flops and they are comfortable and it should be your choice whether you choose to wear them or not
I personally think wearing flip-flops should be a person's choice. If there are risks about them, and the people who wear them know it, then it is up to them to take that risk. Plus, flip-flops are really comfy.
I think that we should be able to wear flip flops because it doesn't affect our education. so why not allow us to wear them?
Flip flops should be allowed to be worn at school because students have shoes to wear for physical education. The students before us did not have as strict of a dress code as us, and I feel it is not fair to incoming students of Bullard High School.
I can understand why flip flops may be a hazard, but how many flip flop related incidents did bullard have before they were banned?
the flip flop should not be a rule. we all wear flip flops at home and if our parents are willing to buy them for us and they are appropriate for them then we should be able to wear them to school.
I think everyone should be able to wear flip flops if they want to. You cant really fall and hurt yourself unless ur messing around
I believe that flip flops are not a problem at all. Their are no proven accidents in which flip flops were the problem. High School students are not in K-6 they are big kids and should be able to handle themselves with these shoes.
what you learn during school has nothing to do with what shoes you have on your feet. this is a very stupid rule. teachers get mad about little things like flip flops and dont focus enough on what theyre supposed to be teaching.

I think that the banning flipflops is stupid. They do support you. Kids wear them to school no matter what the rules say so it is pointless.

No one is going to be severly hurt if they wore flip flops for a day. Its our choice of what we wear daily. If shoes are required for p.e. we'll bring them and if there is a chemical lab, exclude the students who forgot shoes. That way there is no safety hazard.

Okay...banning flipflops is just blahful. People fall all the time anyways, and in science classes, you could easily spill things on your leg, so if we ban flipflops, lets ban shorts as well, and while we're at it, lets start wearing only long sleeve shirts, and why not just cover up every bit of skin there is....okay no. Flipflops should be allowed! Banning flipflops is just dumb, in my opinion anyways. Feel free to prove me wrong though...
I think that flip flops should be allowed at school. You can slip and fall just as much with regular shoes as you can with flip flops.
my reef's are my most supportive foot wear. there is no reason for this ban. i think its a conpiracy theory made by parents to punish their children

I think that we should be able to wear flip flops because its not fair that every year before us got to and we don't. Plus...students will want to wear comfortable things...flip flops are one of those things.

i totally think we should be able to wear flipflops at school. Its not like we are going to do anything bad with them like attack someone with them or something. I dont think we r going to fall and die if someone steps on our flipflop by accident
